University of Melbourne: student residences series
Little Hall
The brief
The University wanted to show prospective students what living in each of its residences is like, from modern apartments to its smallest residential college. Each residence needed its own film, plus short cuts for social feeds.
What I did
- Led the creative direction and shot five films, one for each residence: The Lofts, Little Hall, Lisa Bellear House, Wilam Hall and International House. Each is led by the residents themselves.
- Cut social versions for square, 4×5 and vertical feeds, including a “three words” edit that asks residents across all five to sum up University accommodation.
Outcome
The five films are published on the University’s YouTube channel, with the social cuts delivered for its feeds.
